Welcome to The Chine, Bournemouth

FJB Collection – The Chine is a traditional Victorian style hotel in Bournemouth, which is perfect for families and kids holidays.

Our hotel is set in three acres of beautiful, mature gardens and many of our bedrooms look over the tree tops and out to sea. The beaches of Bournemouth and Boscombe are only a short distance from the hotel – about ten minutes’ walk.

Bournemouth is a fantastic place for kids and for family holidays. The Chine is the perfect hotel to use as a base. We have our own kids club during summer and school holidays to entertain the whole family – you don’t have to leave the hotel! We also have an outdoor play area and indoor ball pool, which always entertains the little ones. You’ll always find something to do when you spend your holiday with us in Bournemouth!

If you’re staying with us, why not upgrade to a sea view room, which look over the top of the trees and out to sea. You can see Bournemouth and Boscombe Pier and miles of golden sands which Bournemouth is famous for from many of these bedrooms! On a really sunny, clear summer’s day, you can see all the way to the Isle of Wight.

Of course there are plenty of things to do and going on in Bournemouth, Poole and Boscombe and so much is close to the hotel. Bournemouth town centre is only a few minutes’ drive away, where there are plenty of shops to visit. Of course, if you don’t fancy shopping in Bournemouth, there’s always Castle Point, which is a ten minute drive from our hotel. We’re also close to the O2 Academy in Boscombe, which makes us the ideal place to stay over!

Our hotel is the perfect venue to get married and have your reception. You can get married outside in our three acre garden, and have your photographs taken on Boscombe Beach. We have a number of rooms which are ideal for big or small weddings.

If you fancy a relaxing day at the hotel, then (in the summer months) you can enjoy a dip in our heated outdoor pool or, if you prefer, a swim in our indoor heated pool.

You don’t have to be a resident to use our facilities. Many locals in Bournemouth and Boscombe (and further afield) are members of our leisure club. You can use our gym and pools when it suits you.

Non-residents can also enjoy dining in our award winning restaurants, Sea View and The Gallery Brasserie, for lunch and dinner. Our dishes are freshly prepared using local ingredients by our AA Red Rosette award winning team.
